The overall pass percentage of CA IPCC and PCC exams held in Nov, 2012 are 20.69% and 15.15% respectively. The candidates of CA IPCC and CA PCC may check their results and the details of their marks.

Results of Chartered Accountants (CA) Professional Competence Course (PCC) and Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC), MAC(Part-I), TMC(Part-I), CMC(Part-I), IRM & ITL and WTO Examinations-November, 2012 declared on Tuesday, 05 February 2013.

The overall pass percentage of CA IPCC and PCC exams held in Nov, 2012 are 20.69% and 15.15% respectively which are 5.98% and 12.79% less in compare of the last term May, 2012 exam results percentage which stood 26.67% and 27.94% respectively.

The candidates of CA IPCC and CA PCC may check their results and the details of their marks at www.caresults.nic.in and their name in the merit lists on all India basis. Their name will be included in the top 50th rank holders merit list if and only if they had secured at least 55% marks in aggregate and in accordance with the decision of the Examination Committee of ICAI.

The top three rank holders on all India-basis of the CA IPCC Examinations held in Nov, 2012 are Bhumika Agarwalla (593), Raunak Agarwal (588) and Vaibhav Maheshwari (577) from New Delhi, Kolkata and New Delhi respectively.

The top three rank holders on all India-basis of the CA PCC Examinations held in Nov, 2012 are Mudit Jhunjhunwala (478), Janani S. (395) and Ravi Deepthi (376) from Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore respectively.

The top three rank holders of IRM Technical Examination Nov 2012 are Anchal Anil Agrawal (288), Chaturmutha Mahendra Shantilal (282) and Mahesh Singhal (264) from Ahmedabad, Nashik and Siliguri respectively.

Note that in accordance with the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988 as amended by the Chartered Accountants (Amendment) Regulations, 2012, for the words “Professional Competence Examination”, the words and brackets “Intermediate (Professional Competence) Examination” and for the words “Integrated Professional Competence Examination”, the words and brackets “Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Examination” shall respectively be substituted.

Therefore, you may say that the PCC and IPCC will now be called as Intermediate (IPC) Course. This amendment has been made by ICAI vide Notification No. 1-CA (7)/145/2012 dated 1st August, 2012.
