CA Foundation Exam Dates: There is no CA CPT exam in May/Nov 2023 and therefore please submit CA Foundation exam form to become Chartered Accountant in India.
Last Common Proficiency Test (CPT) was held on Sunday, 16th June, 2019. CA CPT June 2019 exam form last date was 2nd May 2019. The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced CPT exam date and time schedule June 2019.
CA CPT will be conducted in two sessions in 197 examination centres (Cities in India) and 5 overseas centres. CA CPT June 2019 examination is open only to students registered with the ICAI for the Common Proficiency Course and fulfill the requisite eligibility conditions.
Notification for CA CPT exam is available on official website of ICAI. This announcement has been made by CA Institute in pursuance of Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988. You may refer ICAI Notification No. 13-CA (EXAM)/CPT/June/2019 dated 15th February 2019.
CA CPT Exam Schedule June 2019
This Common Proficiency Test will be conducted on 16-June-2019 as per provisions of Regulation 25 D (3) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.

Common Proficiency Test is an objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based examination. Candidates will be allowed to opt for Hindi Medium Question Paper Booklet for answering the questions.
Note that there is no CPT in May/Nov 2022 and therefore you have to submit CA Foundation Exam Form for May 2022. – ICAI Announcement
Free Online CA CPT Exam Form
The date for commencement of online filling of ICAI CPT Examination Form for June 2019 is 4th April, 2019. Before submitting online CPT Exam Form, please check yourself whether you are eligible for appearing in CPT (Paper- Pencil Mode) June 2019 examination.
The candidates may fill up the CPT examination application form online at icaiexam.icai.org and also remit the fee online by using VISA or MASTER Credit Card/ Debit Card. You may use Internet Banking facility for remitting the fee online for your CA CPT June 2019.

ICAI provide facility (Correction Window -I) for CPT candidates to correct errors if any, committed while submitting exam form. Thus, you may change your opted Exam Centre or Medium before 12.05.2019
Physical CA CPT Examination Application Form
All candidates desirous of applying for CA CPT June 2019 will be required to submit their CA CPT examination application forms online only, at http://icaiexam.icai.org and also pay the applicable examination fee online, during the specified period.
Accordingly, there would be no sale of OMR examination application forms for students’ examinations across the sale counters of the Institute, with effect from CA CPT June, 2019 Examination onwards.
Overseas Centres Candidates:
The fee for candidates opting for Abu Dhabi and Dubai centres will be US $300 or its equivalent Indian Currency. However, the fee for the candidates opting for Kathmandu centre are required to remit ₹1700/- or its equivalent foreign Currency.
Note that the fees payable for the Common Proficiency Test is ₹1000/- for centres in India.

Common Proficiency Test is an objective type multiple choice questions based examination. Candidates will be allowed to opt for Hindi medium Question Paper Booklet for answering the questions. Detailed information will be found given in the Information brochure.
