CA Intermediate exam Dates Sept 2024: CA Intermediate September 2024 exam dates for Group-I are 12th, 14th 17th Sept 2024 and Group-II are 19th, 21st & 23rd Sept 2024.
The next CA Intermediate exam dates are scheduled to be held from 12th Sept 2024 for the first group and from 19th Sept 2024 for the second group.
This term CA Intermediate exams shall be held in 290 places in India and 8 overseas centres. CA Institute discontinued the submission of OMR based i.e. Physical application for CA Inter Sept 2024 examination. Therefore, you have to apply online for next CA Intermediate September 2024 Exams.
In pursuance of Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced that the upcoming Chartered Accountancy (CA) Intermediate exams shall be held in the month of Sept 2024 vide Notification No. 13-CA (EXAM)/Sept/ 2024 dated 18th May 2024.

Intermediate Course Group-I Exam
Following are the time table for CA Intermediate Group-I examinations to be held in Sept 2024:

CA Intermediate first Group paper’s exam duration is 3 hours from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

CA Intermediate second Group paper’s exam duration is also 3 hours from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Note:
- Examination timings at Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat Centres will be 12:30 P.M. to 03:30 P.M. Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Muscat local time equivalent to 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. (IST).
- Examination timings at Bahrain, Doha, Kampala and Kuwait Centres will be 11:30 A.M. to 02:30 P.M. Bahrain, Doha, Kampala and Kuwait local time corresponding/equivalent to 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. (IST).
- Examination timings at Kathmandu centre will be 02:15 P.M. to 05:15 P.M. Nepal local time equivalent to 02:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M. (IST).
CA Inter Exam Fee Payable for Sept 2024
CA Intermediate Indian Centre(s) students are required to pay the following fees for the ICAI Examinations are as under:
- For Both the Groups / Unit 2: ₹2700/-
- Single Group / Unit (All except 2): ₹1500/-
Candidates of Intermediate examination opting for Overseas Centre (Dubai /Abu Dhabi / Muscat) – Excluding Kathmandu Centre are required to remit:
- For Both the Groups / Unit 2: ₹500/-
- Single Group / Unit (All except 2): US$325/-
Students of CA CA Intermediate Exams opting for Examination Centre at Kathmandu are required to remit:
- For Both the Groups / Unit 2: ₹3400/-
- Single Group / Unit (All except 2): ₹2200/-
CA Intermediate Sept 2024 Exam Application Form
ICAI CA Intermediate students have to apply online for submission of CA exam form for September 2024 examination. There is no option to submit ICAI exam form offline in OMR i.e. physical mode.
CA Intermediate Online Exam Form:
Applications for admission to Intermediate examinations are required to apply online at eservices.icai.org from 7th July 2024 and remit the examination fee online by using either VISA or MASTER Credit / Debit Card.
However, if you fill up the online application form after 20th July to 23rd July 2024 then you shall be required to remit additional fee amounting to ₹600/- or US$ 10. CA Intermediate Exam Dates.
Thus, you may fill up and submit your Exam Form online for CA Intermediate May 2024 term of examination from 7th July 2024.
The last date for applying/ submitting online exam form with late fee is 23rd July 2024.
- Apply online from: 07-07-2024.
- Last date without fee: 20-07-2024.
- Last date with late fee: 23-07-2024.
Option to Answer Intermediate Exam Papers in Hindi:
Candidates of CA Intermediate Sept 2024 term of examinations will be allowed to opt for Hindi medium for answering their question papers. For more detailed information you may refer the Information Sheets attached to the relevant application form.
Extra Questions attempted in CA Intermediate Exams
If you answer more questions than are required in terms of instructions given in the respective question paper of CA Intermediate Examination, then only the requisite number of questions first answered in your answer sheet shall be valued by ICAI.
Therefore, please attempt only required number of questions and do not waste your time to answer more questions than required.
The examination department of CA Institute vide announcement “Extra Questions attempted in CA Examinations” dated 15th March, 2016 notified that it is seen that in CA examinations, sometimes, candidates answer more questions or sub parts of a question, than are required in terms of the instructions given in the question paper.
ICAI informed that candidates are required to answer the requisite number of questions as per instructions printed on each question paper. In case any candidate answers extra questions/sub questions over and above the required number, then the requisite number of questions first answered in the answer book shall be valued and subsequent questions answered extra will be ignored.
