AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing 1st Round Seat Allocation Result 2025 Announced – Check Key Dates and Admission Process

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) announced the results of the 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course for the August 2025 session on July 19, 2025.

Eligible candidates participated in the merit-based seat allocation process via the AIIMS portal, with choice filling conducted from July 11–17. Allotted candidates were required to accept their seat and submit documents between July 21–26. A total of 1291 seats are available across various AIIMS institutes, following Government of India reservation norms.

Those opting for the 2nd Round must note that choices locked in the 1st Round will carry forward, and the 2nd Round results and vacant seat list will be announced on August 2, 2025.

Result of 1st Round of Online Seat Allocation of B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing Course August 2025 Session

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has successfully conducted the first round of online seat allocation for the B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing Course for the August 2025 session. The results for this crucial phase were officially announced on July 19, 2025 (Saturday). This marks a significant step for thousands of aspiring nursing professionals who appeared for the AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Entrance Examination.

The 1st Round of seat allocation for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Courses at AIIMS New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Bhatinda, Bhopal, Bilaspur, Bibinagar, Deoghar, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kalyani, Nagpur, Mangalagiri, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh and Raebareli for the Academic Session-2025 has been done based on choices made by eligible candidates (from 11.00 am, 11.07.2025 to 5.00 pm, 17.07.2025).

Online Acceptance of Allocated Seat & Submission of Documents/DD at Allotted AIIMS: July 21, 2025 (Monday) to July 26, 2025 (Monday to Friday up to 05:00 PM & Saturday up to 12:00 Noon).

How the Online Seat Allocation Works

The online seat allocation process is designed to be merit-based and transparent, ensuring fair distribution of seats across various AIIMS institutions. Here’s a general overview:

1. Eligibility: Only candidates who qualified for the AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Entrance Examination for the August 2025 session were eligible to participate in the online seat allocation.
2. Portal Access: Eligible candidates access the Online Seat Allocation portal via their “MyPage” on the official AIIMS website (www.aiimsexams.ac.in) using their registration ID and password. First-time users are required to set a new, separate password for the allocation portal.
3. Choice Filling & Locking: Candidates were required to exercise their choices of AIIMS institutions in their desired order of preference. They could add, delete, or reorder their choices multiple times until the deadline. Once satisfied, candidates had to submit and lock their choices. Importantly, choices submitted and locked in the 1st Round cannot be changed for subsequent rounds. If choices were saved but not explicitly locked, the last saved choices were considered as submitted.
4. Seat Allocation: The allocation of seats is done strictly based on the candidate’s merit rank in the entrance examination and their filled preferences.
5. Acceptance/Rejection: After the 1st Round result, candidates who were allotted a seat had two options:
   • Option 1: Accept allotted seat and do NOT wish to participate in subsequent rounds. These candidates must report to their allotted AIIMS, submit original documents, and pay the requisite fees within the stipulated dates to confirm their admission.
   • Option 2: Accept allotted seat and WANT TO PARTICIPATE in the 2nd Round. These candidates also need to complete the online acceptance and document submission within the given timeframe. If they are allotted a seat in the 2nd round, the seat from the 1st round will automatically be relinquished. Failure to log in and select an option within the specified time leads to forfeiture of the allotted seat and ineligibility for further rounds.

The AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course offers a total of 1291 seats across various AIIMS institutions in India for the August 2025 session. These seats are distributed among different categories based on the reservation policy of the Government of India.

• SC (Scheduled Caste): 15%
• ST (Scheduled Tribe): 7.5%
• EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 10%
• OPH (Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped): 3% (Horizontal reservation across all categories)

Important Documents for Admission

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the 1st Round must present the following original documents along with their photocopies at the time of reporting to the allotted AIIMS:

• AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing 2025 Admit Card
• AIIMS B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing 2025 Result Notification
• Seat Allocation Letter
• Offer Letter
• 10th Class Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate (for Date of Birth)
• 12th Class Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate (showing Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with required aggregate marks – typically 55% for General/OBC and 50% for SC/ST)
• Migration Certificate from the last attended institution.
• Category Certificate (OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD) issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format (if applicable).
• Any other certificate mentioned in the prospectus.
• Demand Draft (DD) for the prescribed fees (details will be in the offer letter).

What’s Next? Second Round of Seat Allocation

Following the completion of the 1st Round’s admission process, AIIMS will announce the declaration of vacant seat position on August 2, 2025 (Saturday). Simultaneously, the announcement of the seat allocation for the 2nd Round will also take place on August 2, 2025 (Saturday).

Candidates who opted to participate in the 2nd Round will have to accept their allocated seat and complete the document submission and reporting process from August 4, 2025 (Monday) to August 7, 2025 (Thursday) up to 05:00 PM.

Important Note for 2nd Round: Exercising of choices will not be opened for the 2nd Round. The choices submitted and locked in the 1st Round will be considered for the 2nd Round as well.
