ICAI recently organises campus placement programme in Feb-March 2019. Highest Chartered Accountant Salary for International Posting was ₹ 36 Lakhs p.a. Highest salary (cost to company) offered for domestic posting was ₹ 22.50 Lac per annum.
Average salary of a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) in India was ₹ 7.43 Lakh Per Annum. Total 730 newly qualified CAs got salary package of more than ₹ 9 lakhs per annum.
Over 69 years ago, ICAI was established with about 1700 members and has grown to over 2.91 lakh members. Recently, total 14969 candidates have become Chartered Accountant after passing CA Final Examinations.
ICAI has been providing an employment opportunity to the newly qualified Chartered Accountants through Campus placement process. ICAI Campus placement began in 1995 and during the years – 2006 to 2018, nearly 30,000 Chartered Accountants secured entry in the industry.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) conducts campus placement programme two times a year. It is organised for recently qualified CAs who have passed CA Final Exams. In other words, ICAI Campus Placement Programmes held twice a year, i.e. in February-March as well as in August-September.

Recently, the Committee for Members in Industry & Business (CMI&B) of ICAI has organises Campus Placement Programmes Feb-March 2019 for fresher Chartered Accountants. The committee, as a matter of routine practice, organises Orientation Programme in all centres to sharpen the soft skills of candidates and to provide them technical updates.
