Officer JMG Scale I:

Clerk (CSA):

  • Pay scale: Rs. 24,050 – 1,340/3 – 28,070 – 1,650/3 – 33,020 – 2,000/4 – 41,020 – 2,340/7 – 57,400 – 4,400/1 – 61,800 – 2,680/1 – 64,480 (20 years)

In addition, employees are eligible for DA, CCA, HRA/leased accommodation, Leave Fare Concession, Medical Aid, hospitalization benefits, retirement benefits and other perquisites as per bank rules and industry settlements.

Place of posting

  • Initial posting is at Chennai, but the bank can transfer employees to any branch/office, including rural branches, as per requirement.

Probation period

  • Officer: 2 years from date of joining.
  • Clerk: 6 months, extendable by 3 months or till satisfactory police/civil verification.

Notice period and bond

Officer:

  • Notice period: 3 months of active service.
  • Must execute a Financial–cum–Surety and Indemnity Bond to serve at least 2 years.
  • If leaving before 2 years, candidate must repay:
    • Bond amount Rs. 2,00,000, plus
    • Salary for unserved notice period (up to 3 months), plus

Clerk:

  3. Use “SAVE AND NEXT” if you cannot complete the form in one go and to verify/edit details before final submission.
  4. Carefully fill all details; no changes are allowed after clicking COMPLETE REGISTRATION.
  5. Ensure name (candidate, father, husband etc.) matches exactly with certificates/marksheets.
  6. Upload photo and signature as per specifications given in Annexure I.
  7. Fill remaining fields, preview the form and verify all details.
  8. Click on COMPLETE REGISTRATION, then proceed to Payment.
  9. Pay the fee using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking on the integrated payment gateway.
  10. Do not press Back/Refresh during payment; wait for server intimation.
  11. On successful payment, an e-Receipt is generated. If not generated, treat it as payment failure and log in again to retry.
  12. After successful submission, download/print the online application form and fee receipt and keep them safely with Registration Number and Password. Do not send printouts to the bank.

A valid personal email ID and mobile number must remain active till completion of recruitment, as all communication including call letters will be sent there.

Documents to carry for field trials / interview

Candidates must bring originals and self-attested photocopies of:

  • Valid call letter printout.
  • System-generated online application form.
  • Proof of date of birth (Birth Certificate or SSLC/Std X with DOB).
  • Valid photo ID (PAN, Passport, Permanent Driving Licence, Voter ID, bank passbook with photo, government college/university ID, Aadhaar with photo, or ID from Gazetted Officer/People’s Representative). Ration Card and learner’s license are not valid.
  • Mark sheets and certificates for educational qualifications, with proof of result declared on or before 01.01.2026.
  • Sports certificates (International, National, State, University, Khelo India, etc.) in the prescribed formats, issued by the appropriate authorities.
  • Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) in prescribed Government of India format; OBC NCL certificate must be dated on or after 01.04.2025 till the date of trial/interview.
  • No Objection Certificate from employer for candidates working in Government/quasi-Government/PSU/banks.
  • Experience certificates, if applicable, and other documents supporting eligibility.

Biometric and IRIS verification

  • Photograph, biometric data and left eye IRIS may be captured at trial/interview venue.
  • Candidate’s appearance must match the uploaded photograph; refusal to participate in biometric/IRIS verification can lead to cancellation of candidature.
