The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has officially declared the results and online counselling schedule for the Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) – 2025. Examination Result

The PECE-2025 examination was conducted on May 18, 2025. Candidates can now download their results from the “Result Column” on the JCECEB homepage.

To maintain transparency, scanned copies of OMR answer sheets will be available from July 3, 2025. Moreover, the official answer keys for all four sets of question papers were published on May 20, 2025, and were open for objection submission until May 23, 2025. Following expert review, revised/final answer keys are now available online.

Admission and Seat Allotment Process

Admission to various diploma engineering programs in Jharkhand will be strictly through the online counselling (e-Counselling) process. The counselling is applicable for:

  • Government Polytechnic Institutes (including women’s polytechnics)
  • PPP mode polytechnic institutes
  • Non-Government Polytechnic Institutes
  • Tool & Die Making Courses at:
    • Jharkhand Government Mini Tool Room & Training Centre, Ranchi
    • Government Tool Room & Training Centre, Dumka

All seat allocations will be conducted online, based on candidate merit and preferences.

Partial Admission Fee (Mandatory for Seat Allotment)

A partial admission fee of ₹1,000 must be paid online to download the seat allotment letter. If the candidate takes admission, this amount will be adjusted against the tuition fee. Otherwise, the amount will be forfeited.

Participation in Subsequent Counselling Rounds

Second Round: All candidates (whether allotted or not, admitted or not) from the first round can participate. If a new seat is allotted, previous admission will be cancelled and the new seat must be accepted.

Third Round: Open to all candidates from first and second rounds. Allotment of a new seat will again result in automatic cancellation of earlier admissions.

Note: Candidates admitted in earlier rounds do not need to pay the partial admission fee again.

If reserved category seats remain unfilled in the third round due to lack of candidates, they will be regulated as per the government norms issued by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Rajbhasha, Jharkhand.

Failure to take admission within the prescribed dates will result in automatic cancellation of the allotment.
