The Research Focus: Liver Fibrosis Detection
The core of this project, titled “Development of matrix metalloproteinase-based assays to detect liver fibrosis, a major risk factor for liver cancer”, aims to develop new diagnostic tools. Liver fibrosis, the scarring of the liver, is a critical precursor to liver cancer. The research will focus on creating assays based on matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) to improve early and accurate detection of this condition.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

- 10th grade qualification plus a Diploma (MLT/DMLT/ITI or equivalent) and two years of experience in the relevant subject/field.
- A three-year Graduate degree in the relevant subject/field and one year of experience in the relevant subject.
Note on Preference: Candidates with relevant experience in enzyme assays will be given preference during the selection process.
