Recently, the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced Result of CMA Intermediate Course Dec 2016 examination. Qualified students of CMA Intermediate Course may register yourself for CMA Final Course. Those candidates who has not qualified CMA Intermediate this term may appear for the next term of CMA Inter Exam.
After registration to CMA Final Course, you may want to know the applicable syllabus for your coming examination to be held in Dec 2017.
CMA Final Course Admission – New Syllabus 2016
The ICAI (Cost) has introduced new syllabus 2016 for CMA Final students appearing in Dec 2017 term of examination. The first examination of CMA Final Course under New syllabus 2016 shall be conducted in June 2017 term of examination.
Eligibility for Admission to CMA Final Course:
If you have cleared all papers of CMA Intermediate Course, you shall be eligible for registration in CMA Final Course. In other words, a candidate may register for CMA Final Course only after passing CMA Intermediate Course.
Thus, there is only one way you can get admission to the Final level of ICAI Course, i.e. by passing the Intermediate level of Exams conducted by CMA Institute.
Fee for Registration in CMA Final Course:
You are required to pay fee of ₹17,000 for CMA Final Course registration of ICAI. If you want to buy prospectus of CMA Final Course, then you have to pay ₹250/- additionally.

Following documents are required for taking admission in ICMAI Final Course under New Syllabus 2016:
- Coloured Scanned copy of Passport Photo;
- Specimen Signature;
- Age Proof Certificate;
- CMA Intermediate Pass (both Group-I & Group-II) Marksheet/Certificate.
CMA Final Course Registration – Dec 2017 Exams
Registration for the ICAI Final Course is open throughout the year. However, the CMA Institute has set cut-off dates or last date for registration for appearing in June/December term of examinations.
Accordingly, you have to take admission in CMA Final Course at least 4 months prior to the month of Examination to be eligible to appear in the Final Examination. Therefore, students desirous to appear for June 2018 Term Examination should apply before 31st January 2018 and for December 2017 Term Examination should apply before 31st July 2017.
To appear in December 2017 Exams:
If you want to appear for CMA Final December 2017 term examination then, you should have to apply for admission before 31st July 2017. In other words, the last date of registration for CMA Final Course is 31-07-2017 for appearing in December 2017 term of examinations.
To appear in June 2018 Exams:
Students desirous to appear for June 2018 term examination of CMA Final Course then, they should apply before 31st January 2018. In other words, the last date of registration for CMA Final Course is 31-01-2018 for appearing in June 2018 term of examinations.
How to apply for CMA Final Course – Dec 2017 Exams
You may either buy physical registration form or apply online for admission to CMA Final course under New Syllabus 2016.
A) Apply in Physical Application Form:

B) Submit Online Admission Application Form:
You may use ICMAI Online Student Registration System for admission to CMA Final Course under New Syllabus 2016. However, you have to keep some compulsory required documents before applying online for admission in CMA Final Course. How to apply online for CMA Final Admission
Here is the step-by-step online process for registration for CMA Final course under New syllabus 2016. The first examination under the New Syllabus 2016 shall be conducted in June 2017. Note that students admitted / registered / enrolled to Final course at least 4 months prior to the month of Examination shall be eligible to appear in the CMA Final Examination.

Step-2 (Proceed for Registration):
You may proceed for online application and click on register as Final student text link shown in the middle of that webpage. You will be asked to select either oral coaching or postal coaching.
1) Oral Coaching: If you opt for Oral Coaching mode, you have to attend oral coaching classes at Chapter/Regional Councils of the institute selected by you. You need to collect Study Materials from concerned Regional Council / Chapter / CMA Support Centre after receipt intimation from HQ by SMS/email.
2) Postal Coaching: Students opting Postal Coaching mode shall have to submit answer to Postal test papers only.

ii) General Information: Your Name, Father/Husband Name, Mother’s Maiden Name, Nationality, Religion, Date of Birth, Caste, Gender, Marital Status and Occupation.
b) Address Details: Permanent and present Address.
c) Qualification Details: CMA Intermediate details.
d) Payment: You may make payment using your Debit/Credit card or net banking.
e) Attachment: Upload the required documents viz. Passport Photo, Specimen Signature, Age Proof, Pass Marksheet etc.
Some other Important Information for CMA Final Registered Students:
1) Welcome Message: Once you successfully upload all the required scanned documents and make payment online, you will receive a welcome message.
2) Reg. Number: Identification/ Registration Number will be generated only after completion of document verification and authentication from the Directorate of studies.
3) Study Materials: Study Material will be dispatched after generation of Identification/ Registration Number.
4) Compliance: Applicants are advised to ensure proper compliance and documentation.
5) Incomplete Application Form: Incomplete applications will be available in the system for further completion for a period of 30 days from the date of original application. During this period, an applicant may complete the remaining procedures. Beyond 30 days, no previous information will be available in the system and an applicant shall have to proceed for making fresh application.
