Vacancy Details & Eligibility Criteria
IIT Delhi is hiring for three distinct units. Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications for the unit they wish to apply for.

Important Eligibility Conditions
Before applying, ensure you meet the following criteria as per the official notification:
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 25 Years (as on 19/01/2026)
- Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
- Passing Year Rule: The gap between your qualifying degree/diploma passing date and the application deadline (19/01/2026) must not exceed 2 years.
- Previous Training: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere are NOT eligible.
Stipend Structure
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly stipend during the one-year training period:
- Degree Holders: ₹15,000/- per month
- Diploma Holders: ₹12,000/- per month
Selection Process
The selection will be strictly merit-based. There will be no written exam or interview.
- Shortlisting: Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying Degree/Diploma examination.
- Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie in marks, the candidate senior in age will be given preference.
- Document Verification: Provisionally selected candidates must produce original documents (Mark sheets, Category Certificate, Medical Fitness) at the time of joining.
