University of Kashmir Announces Ph.D. Admissions for 2025

The University of Kashmir has released provisional selection notifications for admission to its Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs in various disciplines for the 2025 academic cycle. Two separate notifications, one from the School of Arts, Languages, and Literatures and another from the Department of Mathematics, outline the names of selected candidates and crucial deadlines for admission formalities.

Ph.D. Admissions in Arts, Languages, and Literatures

The School of Arts, Languages, and Literatures, under the authority of Dean Prof. Aejaz Mohammed Sheikh, issued its selection notification on July 1, 2025. The selections were authorized by the competent authority on June 30, 2025.

Selected candidates are directed to report to their respective departments to complete admission formalities within thirty days from the issuance of the order (July 1, 2025). Ph.D. Admissions in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics, located at Hazratbal, Srinagar-190006, J&K, India, also released its Ph.D. admission notice on July 2, 2025. This notification references an earlier admission notification, KU2025-DFPM-Ph.D./Admiss, dated July 1, 2025.

Selected candidates for the Ph.D. Programme in Mathematics (Cycle-I, 2025) are required to complete their admission formalities at the Department of Mathematics office, University of Kashmir (Main campus), by or before 5:00 PM on July 30, 2025.
