Download ICAI IPC/ATE and CA Final Admit Card Nov 2016 Exams

Download admit card online by login into your ICAI Account for CA IPC and Final examinations to be held in Nov 2016. Admit Card available from 7th Oct 2016.

According to paragraph 11 of Guidance Note “Issue of Admit Cards” hosted on icaiexam.icai.org the dispatch of physical admit cards has now been discontinued. Therefore, all students of CA Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Course/ Accounting Technician Course (ATC) and Final Course have to download and/ or print their Admit Card online for Nov, 2016 Examination.

Admit cards with photographs and signatures of all the eligible candidates of CA IPCC Nov 2016 Exam as well as CA Final Nov 2016 Exams will be issued 21 days before the commencement of the examination. Accordingly, the CA Institute has released Admit Card well in advance i.e. 7th October, 2016.

How to download CA Exams Admit Card for Nov 2016

CA Final/IPCC admit card for Nov 2016 will be hosted on the following website from where you may download your Admit Card/ Hall ticket online for ICAI November 2016 Exam:

For downloading/printing of the admit cards, candidates will have to login to their Single-Sign-On account at icaiexam.icai.org as under:

Step-1 (Account Login):

You have to Click Here and visit ICAIexam.icai.org and login into your account using your login id and password.

Step-2 (View Admit Card):

Click on the “view” link in front of Admit Card as shown in this screenshot. A new window will appear with a message that whether your CA Exam Admit Card is available for printing.

Step-3 (Print Admit Card):

Thereafter in the next page click on continue to download your admit card in PDF or print the same in A4 size paper immediately. Hence, click “Continue” button only when your printer is ready (You have the option of downloading the Admit Card maximum 3 times) and WAIT. However, you may also save your Admit Card  or take a printout when it appears on the screen. Thus, the candidates shall not required to remember their PIN (Personal Identification Number) for downloading their CA Exam Admit Card 2016.

Note that CA Institute will not issue physical admit cards to those who have submitted ICAI exam form online. Therefore, will be required to print their admit cards from official website at http://www.examicai.icai.org/ i.e. online only, which will be equally valid for admission to the examination.

As an additional service to the examinees, the physical Admit Cards/ Hall Tickets for November 2016 examination will also be send by post to only those eligible candidates who had submitted physical OMR exam forms. Admit card will contain your photograph as well as the signature. Immediately after downloading your CA Exam Admit Card, please verify your Roll No, Name, Group (s)/ Unit, exam centre, dates and time etc.

Any discrepancy relating to exam, group, medium, centre, name spelling, registration number etc., found in the printed admit card, the same should be reported in writing to the exam department so as to reach the CA Institute at least 7 (seven) days prior to the commencement of the examination.

Such request/ correspondence relating to any examination matters should be sent/ made at the following address necessarily by the examinee himself/herself.

Note that the request for change of center/medium/group etc. received later than 7 days prior to the commencement of exam will not be entertained under any circumstances. However, if such request/ correspondence relating to examination matters made by parents/ guardian/ siblings/ principal/ well-wishers on behalf of the examinees will not be entertained.

Further note that all Intermediate (IPC) unit candidates should check that their admit card is for the applicable Unit. Otherwise, they should inform the Institute in writing requesting for correction and should appear only in papers of the respective Unit.

FAQs related to Admit Card for CA Nov 2016 Examinations

I have plotted all relevant queries related to the CA IPCC and CA Final examination at one place to help CA students. If you have another queries related to admit card, please feel free to ask the same through comments below.

Question-1: I forgot my PIN and not able to download admit card. Sir, please tell me what can I do right now? It’s urgent! Please help me.

Answer: Don’t worry! CA Institute has now hosted Admit card on ExamICAI.ICAI.org and therefore, you shall not required to enter PIN for downoading Admit Card. Use your ICAI Account Login User ID (Registration Number) and password for login and downloading Admit Card. However, you can also call CA Institute helpline numbers of the Exam Dept. or the respective regional office(s) for assistance in the matter as stated above.

Question-2: I had not affixed my photograph in the exam form. Can I send them now?

Answer: Yes. However, once the admit cards are posted/hosted, no changes will be made thereon. The photographs will be used at the time of preparation of pass certificates. Accordingly, CA Institute recommend you to carry with you a photo identity card issued by the Govt. or by ICAI at the time of registration as articles assistants, to the examination hall, along with the admit card downloaded/printed from the website.

Question-3: What will I do if my CA Exam Admit card does not contain my Photo and Signature?

Answer: Some candidates submitted their exam forms online but did not send a print-out of their online exam forms after affixing their photographs and signatures thereon. Accordingly, admit cards of such candidates, hosted on the website, will not contain their photographs and signatures.

If this is your case then don’t worry. You are just required to carry any one of the following photo identification otherwise you will not be allowed entry into the Examination Centre:

A) Voter’s card;
B) Driving License;
C) Passport;
D) Identity Card issued by College etc.

Question-4: But sir what happens if I have no any of the above mentioned documents for Identity? Can I use my AADHAAR Card for identity purpose?

Answer: ICAI has not yet allowed Aadhaar card as photo identity for the admission to the CA examination hall. Therefore, if you do not have any of the above mentioned photo identity cards, you may get your photos attested by a Chartered Accountant or a Gazetted Officer and carry the same to the examination Centre, as proof of your identity.
Question-5: Sir, I have a valid exemption but in my Admit Card there is no information about Exempted Papers. Please tell me whether I got my exemption or have to appear again?

Answer: The first thing you should know that any information regarding exempted papers are not shown in CA Exam Admit Card. So, don’t worry about that.

The exemption granted are reflected in your Mark Sheet itself. You will see a sign/symbol of # (hashtag) in your previous printed marksheet indicating that you have got an exemption in that respective subjects. The result of that particular Group will show F-Ex i.e. failed with exemption.

Thereafter, an alphabet “E” will be printed against the marks of the exempted paper(s) which means that marks of that paper have been brought forward from an exemption granted in that paper in an earlier attempt.

Note that the exemption is valid for the next immediate 3 consecutive examination only and during this period, exemption in other subject(s) of the same group is not granted even if you secure 60 or more marks.

Question-6: I have downloaded my admit card from the website. However, details therein do not relate to me. What should I do?

Answer: Contact the Helpline numbers ( mentioned above) immediately, quoting your registration number, bar code number of your examination form and receipt number issued by the regional office(s), if any, centre opted (with zone, if applicable), telephone number, fax number etc.

Exemptions Entitlement in CA Exam Papers:

I strongly recommend you to check yourself that whether you have been granted exemptions in a paper(s) valid for Nov 2016 examinations. You can login with your Single-sign-on credentials at http://icaiexam.icai.org/ on / after 15th October, 2016 to check your Exemptions. In case of discrepancy, if any, you may write to the Examination Dept. of ICAI enclosing scanned copy of the relevant mark sheet in which exemption was granted.
