CSEET Registration May 2024: Registration to ICSI Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is open for May 2024 session. CSEET has replaced the earlier CS Foundation examination.

The CSEET registration window shall be open till 15th April 2024 for the CSEET examination to be held in May 2024. Thereafter, the registration for CS Executive Entrance Test will be open during 16th April 2024 to 15th June 2024 for CSEET July 2024 examination.

If you have registered students in CS Foundation, you are not required to register for CSEET. After passing CS Foundation examination, you will be eligible for admission in CS Executive Programme. You can appear in CS Foundation exams till your validity of registration of Foundation Course.

If you have passed/appeared 10+2 Class then you are eligible for CSEET May 2024. CA Final or CMA Final passed candidates are exempted from CSEET May 2024 examinations.

The Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982 has been amended by the Company Secretaries (Amendment) Regulations, 2020. Accordingly, the ICSI has discontinued CS Foundation course with effect from 03.02.2020.

CS Foundation is replaced by CS Executive Entrance Test i.e. CSEET. CSEET is the only qualifying entrance test for registration to the CS Executive Programme.

How to Register for CSEET Entrance Examination?

CSEET Registration fee is ₹2,000 for CS Executive entrance test to be held in May 2024. Register yourself on or before 15.04.2024 to appear in May 2024 CS Executive Entrance Test.

CSEET Online Registration Process for May 2024: The steps for registration for CSEET are as under:

  1. Visit Smash.ICSI.in
  2. Click on CSEET Registration from top menu bar.
  3. Keep soft copy of required documents and proceed to CSEET registration
  4. Fill basic details to get Unique Number (ID)
  5. Upload Mandatory documents and preview application
  6. Pay registration fee and get registered in CS Executive Entrance Test.

Step-1 (Visit Official Website):

In order to Register for ICSI CSEET you have to visit official website of CS Institute i.e. www.icsi.edu. From drop down menu select “Register for CSEET” under Online Services as shown in the screenshot.

ICSI has recommended to use any recommended browser like Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 9, Mozilla 38 and Google Chrome 39.

Step-2 (Soft copy of Required Document):

You should keep ready the required documents as mentioned below for CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) registration.

  1. Photograph of the candidate
  2. Signature of the candidate
  3. DOB Certificate (Use 10th class pass certificate)
  4. Admit Card/ Hall Ticket for 10+2 Examinations (if appearing)
  5. 12th Class Pass Certificate or Mark Sheet
  6. Category Certificate (for availing Fee Concession)
  7. Identity proof
    1. Aadhar Card
    2. Passport
    3. Voter ID
    4. Pan card
    5. Driving license
    6. Ration card

Guidelines for Documents:

  • All the files should be present in one of the following formats (JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, PDF).
  • The maximum allowed file size is 2MB.
  • File size of student photo should be between 20KB to 50KB.
  • File Size of student signature should be between 10KB to 20KB.

Now, tick the required boxes and click on button “Proceed to CSEET Registration”.

Under basic details tab, you have two options viz. New Registration (By default) and Incomplete Registration. Choose the option as applicable to you. The default selection will be new registration.

3B) Incomplete CSEET Registration:

If you have started CSEET registration process and form was incomplete that time, you may use facility of incomplete registration to proceed for submit admission form. Last time you may have noted the unique number while saved the basic details, just enter that unique ID and proceed further to complete your CSEET registration form as shown in this screenshot.

After providing your personal details, click on button Next.

Your unique request ID will be shown on the screen like 111451649. You will see message:

Your request is in progress, and you will receive a confirmation mail/SMS shortly. Please proceed to next pages for registration.

Now, fees details tab will be shown on screen. CSEET registration fee is ₹2,000 for May 2024 examination.

Concession in CSEET Registration Fee:

The following concessions are applicable while registering for CSEET:-

  • SC/ST – 50%
  • Physically Handicapped – 50%
  • Wards & Widows of Martyrs and Defence Service Personnel with Permanent Disability – 100%
  • Serving / Retired Personnel of Defence Services and Paramilitary Forces – 50%
  • ICSI Staff and Wards / Spouse of ICSI Staff – 75%
  • ICLS Officers/ Officers & Staff of MCA and affiliated offices (NCLT, SFIO and CCI) – 100%
  • Students from North Eastern States, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep (similar scheme is being introduced for the Students of Himachal Pradesh) – 50%
  • Students from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladhak – 100%

Step-6 (Upload Mandatory Documents):

Upload the required documents. Upload your photo and signature in image file i.e. JPG or PNG format. For another document, you may use either PDF format or image file format. Note that the file size should not be more than 2MB.

After uploading all required documents, click Next button. To get the benefit of fee waiver scheme, you have to upload domicile certificate at category option.

Step-7 (Preview Application of CSEET Registration):

In this step you have to check and verify all provided information. If you find anything wrong or incomplete, please press back button and rectify or complete the information.

Step-8 (Select Payment Mode):

Choose your payment method according to your preference. After selecting payment mode from drop down, click on Next button.

Bill Desk provides option to pay using Credit Card, Debit Card, Debit Card + ATM PIN, Internet Banking, Wallet/Cash Cards, QR code and UPI.

Axis Bank provides option to pay using Debit/Credit Card only.

Challan can be submitted to any Branch of Canara Bank.

Step-9 (Request and Transaction ID):

Please note the auto generated request id and transaction id for future reference. CS Institute received your request of registration in CS Executive Entrance Test.

However, it does not mean that the payment has been made. So, please click on Proceed button and make payment.

Note that ICSI has no responsibility for delay payment either due to technical or non-technical issue whatsoever.

Step-10 (Make Payment):

If you chose Billdesk, the following screen will appear.

On Successful Payment, you will be registered for CSEET. You will be intimated through the Email on registered email ID and SMS on registered Mobile Number. Now, you can appear for the CSEET as per the schedule sent through email/SMS.
