CBSE Announces 21st Edition of CTET to be Held on February 8, 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), headquartered in India, has issued a public notice regarding the schedule for the 21st Edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
The examination is officially scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 08th, 2026. The CTET will include both Paper-I and Paper-II. This public notice was dated October 24, 2025.
Examination Logistics and Scope: This edition of the CTET will be conducted in a widespread manner, covering 132 cities across the country. The examination will be administered in twenty languages.

The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 21st edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in February 2025. The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 132 cities all over the country. The detailed information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in shortly and aspiring candidates are requested to download in information Bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website https://ctet.nic.in The online application process will start from last week of Oct 2025. The last date for submitting online application is Nov 2025 and fee can be paid upto Nov 2025.

Exam Schedule CTET 2026
CTET Exam Date 2026: CTET exams are held in two shifts. The next CTET will be held in the month of February 2026. The exact date and shift of CTET February 2026 examination will be mentioned on the CTET admit card of the candidate.
Find the official notification for CTET Exam Schedule for the year 2026. Exam duration is 2.30 hours for each shift. Mode of exam shall be offline pen-paper (OMR) based.

Application Form CTET 2026
Application Form CTET 2026: The eligible candidates are allowed to fill up and submit the application form for Central Teacher Eligibility Test On-line by logging on CTET official website. Physical mode of application will be rejected.
The online application-process will be start from last week of Oct 2025 onwards and the last date for submitting online application is Nov 2025 upto 11:59 hrs. The fee can be paid upto November 2025.

Exam Centres CTET 2026
Exam Centres CTET February 2026: Candidate are allowed to select four different options for CTET examination centres cities in order of preference from where he/she wishes to appear for the test.
However, the Board reserves its discretion to allot a Centre other than that of Candidate’s choice anywhere in India. Note that entry in the examination centre allowed two hours before the commencement of exams in each shift i.e. at 7:30 AM for Shift–I and 12:30 PM for Shift–II.

Admit Card CTET 2026
Admit Card CTET February 2026: If you have submitted online application form then you may download CTET Admit card for appearing in the upcoming text. To download admit card you need to entre details like Registration No/ Roll No, Date of Birth (DOB) and Password.
You have to download your e-Admit card through online only. In other words, CBSE will not sent CTET exam hall ticket or admit card to the candidate via post.
The eligible candidates shall log in to their registered account to Download CTET Admit Card for the next test scheduled to be held in February 2026.

Answer Key CTET 2026
Answer Key CTET February 2026: Solved questions of CTET provided by CBSE after conducting examinations. There are two type of answers given for CTET viz. Provisional Answer Key and Final Answer Key.
The CTET.nic.in will display Provisional Answer Key of the questions on the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). A Public Notice issued by CBSE to this effect on the official website.
The provisional answer key hosted for two to three days to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge that answers. Thereafter, the subject experts will examine all the challenges received during stipulated time and then the final answer keys will be displayed.

Result CTET 2026
Result CTET February 2026: The CBSE shall announce the CTET result date after 45 days of successfully completion of Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

Passing Marks CTET 2026
Passing Marks CTET February 2026: A candidate who scores 60% or more in the CTET exam will be considered as CTET pass.
However, the school managements may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
Certificate CTET 2026
Certificate CTET February 2026: The CTET passing certificate will be awarded to all candidates passed CTET with qualifying marks. The validity period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for life time for all categories.
Note that there is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. That means you may appear gain and again for improving your CTET score.
Selection Procedure CTET 2026
Selection Procedure CTET February 2026: After passing CTET you may be selected to teach to teach classes I to VIII in the Schools affiliated to the CBSE.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a national level exams for appointment in CG schools like KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools. Private schools may also exercise the option of considering the CTET certificate for appointment as a teacher.
Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any candidate for Recruitment or Employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment. The eligibility shall be finally verified, by the concerned recruiting agency / appointing authority.
