ESIC Kollam Announces Walk-In Interviews for Medical Specialists and Senior Residents

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Model and Super Specialty Hospital, Asramam, Kollam, has announced a walk-in interview on October 31, 2025 (Friday) for the recruitment of Super Specialists, Specialists, and Senior Residents on a contractual basis.

The engagement will be for one year, extendable up to three years depending on satisfactory performance and requirement, or until a regular incumbent joins.

Vacancy Details

1. Super Specialists (Full Time/Part Time) – 2 Posts

• Departments: Nephrology (1), Urology (1)
• Remuneration:
  • Full Time: ₹2,00,000 to ₹2,40,000 per month
  • Part Time: ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,50,000 per month, plus additional allowances for emergency and extra hours.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 years as of interview date.
• Qualifications: DM/MCh/DNB or equivalent in the concerned super specialty, registered with the Medical Council. Candidates with five years’ experience post-super-specialty may be considered as Senior Consultants.

2. Specialists (Full Time/Part Time) – 6 Posts

• Departments:
  • General Medicine (1 – OBC)
  • ICU (2 – SC & OBC)
  • Casualty (2 – OBC)
  • Microbiology (1 – OBC)
• Remuneration:
  • Full Time: ₹1,38,108 to ₹1,60,752 per month
  • Part Time: ₹60,000 per month plus allowances for emergency duty and additional hours.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 69 years.
• Qualifications: MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma/DNB in the respective specialty with requisite experience (3–7 years depending on qualification).

3. Senior Residents – 7 Posts

Departments: Cardiology, Nephrology, ICU, and General Medicine

Remuneration: Approx. ₹1,38,108 per month (Level 11 as per 7th CPC)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years (relaxations as per government norms).

Qualifications: MD/DNB/Diploma in relevant specialty; DM/DrNB preferred for super specialties.

• Venue: Conference Hall, ESIC Model and Super Specialty Hospital, Asramam, Kollam
• Reporting Time: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Applicants must bring all original documents, self-attested photocopies, two passport-size photographs, and the application fee in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Employees’ State Insurance Fund – Account No. 1,” payable at Kollam.

• Application Fee:
  • ₹250 for General/EWS/OBC
  • ₹50 for SC/ST
  • No fee for Female and PWD candidates

Additional Instructions

• Selection will be based on qualification, experience, and interview performance.
• Candidates who have completed three years of Senior Residency in Central Institutions are not eligible for Senior Resident posts.
• Selected candidates must have a Professional Indemnity Policy covering their engagement period.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
• The hospital reserves the right to modify or cancel vacancies as per requirement.
