ICAI Exam Form Online Application Procedure

Online filling up of examination forms: Sale and submission of OMR examination application form i.e. physical application form for CA Final/ Intermediate/ Foundation has been discontinued for January 2026 examinations. Accordingly, you have to apply and submit CA Foundation/ Intermediate/ Final January 2026 exam form online only.

Simple online procedure to fill ICAI Exam Form January 2026:

1. Register your Name or Create Login Account at https://eservices.icai.org/
2. Fill up ICAI Exam Online Application form
3. Pay ICAI Exam Fee Online
4. Take print out of submitted ICAI Exam form
5. Affix your Photo, Sign ICAI Exam printed Form and send to ICAI Office (If required)

You have to login to https://eservices.icai.org/ for submit your ICAI JAN 2026 exam form. Earlier, students had to log on to icaiexam.icai.org for applying for the examinations.

As a part of automation and platform consolidation, all candidates in respect of CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final Examinations will be required to apply online at https://eservices.icai.org (Self Service Portal – SSP) for JAN 2026 exam onwards and also pay the requisite examination fee online. These forms are based on your eligibility of your course based on announcements and regulations. These forms will be available on SSP, and you are requested to login with your credentials (Username and password).

Late Fee of INR 600/- (for Indian/Kathmandu/Bhutan Centres) and US $ 10 (for Abroad Centres) is applicable from 20th-22th Nov 2025.

Online Application Procedure for CA Exam Form

Login SSP Portal (Step-1):

ICAI exam form online JAN 2026: First of all you should login to your account on SSP portal at eservices.icai.org directly for applying for JAN 2026 examination. In other words, you need not re-create the account for each term.

However, if you have no account on SSP portal, you have to create your login account by entering your Registration number, date of birth, valid Email ID and mobile number.

Registration for Online submission of ICAI Exam Forms for JAN 2026 starts from 3rd Nov 2025 and closes on 19th Nov 2025. Late fee for ICAI Exam form starts from 17th Nov 2025.

That means applications for admission to CA Foundation/ CA Intermediate/ Ca Final examinations are required to apply online from 3rd Nov to 19th Nov 2025 at https://eservices.icai.org/ and also pay the applicable examination fee online only.

Create Account on SSP Portal:

Provide your personal details like Name, Gender, Date of Birth, country, Email address and mobile number.

ICAI Exam Registration (Step-2):

After login to your SSP portal, click on the form ( Foundation/ Intermediate/ Final Exam Registration) for ICAI exam application form for appearing in January 2026.

You will see the link of exam functions as shown in the screenshot above.

A pop-up window will appear with important guideline for CA JAN 2026 exams. Direct download link shall be given on the top of Important Guideline page. Scroll down and read carefully all guidelines.

Then click on check box – I have read and understood all the guidelines and press OK button.

ICAI Exam Enrollment Form (Step-3)

There will be three tabs in ICAI January 2026 exam enrollment form.

Personal Details:

In this section your personal detail available to ICAI will auto filled up.

The details are the last profile details as available in SSP during your course registration. Please go through the details and use the following Menu Path Student Functions –> Student Module –> Profile edit form for any change and await its approval. Once approved, your Exam Forms will have the updated information display.

It is recommended to update your Photo and Signature at Student Functions –> Student Module –> Profile edit form in SSP, and await its approval in order to have the latest Photo and Signature on your Admit Card. For any compromised photo and signature mismatch, you may encounter problems at the Examination Centre.

DECLARATION CERTIFICATE: For JAN 2026, CA Institute has made compulsory to attach or upload scanned image of Declaration / Certificate of Service.

Pay CA Exam Fee Online (Step-4):

In the current opened window you may either click on make payment or cancel the payment and log out from there. If you proceed for payment, you have to select your preferred payment method from VISA, MasterCard and Maestro.

In addition to the applicable fee payable to the Institute by the candidate towards exam related services, they will be required to pay bank charges at the following rates, while paying the said fee, online through the payment gateway.

These are charges payable by the candidate to the bank and will be recovered along with the applicable fee payable to the Institute:-

1. Domestic Credit Cards: 0.50% + GST
2. Domestic Debit Cards / Rupay Cards :-
   • Upto Rs. 2000 : 0.4% + GST
   • Greater than Rs. 2000 : 0.9% + GST
3. Rupay Cards : Nil International Cards: 2.75% + GST
4. Net Banking: Nil
5. BHIM UPI: Nil

If you have created Virtual/ Net/ NetSafe Credit Card (the procedure to create your Virtual Card through Internet Banking has been illustrated above) for making payment then click on VISA and enter the Card Number, Expiry date and security code and click on pay now button from right side.

After making successful payment, payment confirmation page will appear containing transaction details. Make sure the transaction response (status) is successful displayed in green color an addition to a message in red color that your transaction is successful.

Photographs and Signatures:

If your photo and sign are in the database of ICAI, you need not required to take print out of exam form. In other words, CA Foundation/ Intermediate/ Final candidates whose photographs and signatures are displayed on the screen, on the portal, when they log in, are not required to take a print out (PDF) of the exam form and submit it.

ICAI Exam Form Instructions – For Candidates Without Photo or Signature in Database

1. Form Submission:
   • Login to https://eservices.icai.org, fill the exam form, and download the PDF.
   • Print on A4 paper (Portrait, single side only).
   • Affix recent photo (3.5 x 4.5 cm), sign with black ink, and get it attested by a Principal/Member of ICAI/Gazetted Officer.
2. Upload Certificate:
   • Upload your Certificate of Service on the portal.
3. Submission Options(only if photo/sign not shown in form):
   • By Hand: Submit at any ICAI office (10 AM–5 PM, working days).
   • By Post: Send via Speed/Registered Post (no courier) to: Deputy Secretary (Exams)

ICAI Exam Login for JAN 2026: Before you start following the steps mentioned above for ICAI exam form online, please keep in mind 7 most useful and important points:

1. ICAI Exam Form 2026 in Mobile: You may use any latest and updated version of web browser like Internet Explorer versions (9.0 onwards), Mozilla Firefox(5.0 onwards), Google Chrome(41.0 onwards) or Safari(3.4 onwards) through your Personal Computer (PC) and Laptop. 2. Two Exam Form Simultaneously: Fill up only one online exam form at a time and don’t forget to clear your browsers temporary files and cookies (Ctrl + Shift + Delete) before filling another form, if any, for the coming CA examinations.
3. Expired Registration: In case your original registration is more than 3/4/5 years, the date of revalidation of registration shall be required for CA Foundation/ Inter/ Final students respectively.
4. Eligibility: Check your eligibility and keep ready your previous course or last attempts passing details for applying ICAI exams. CA Final Result | CA Inter Result | CA Foundation Result.
5. ICAI Exam Fees: You may see the exam fee details for online forms and exam centres before applying online for CA examinations. Check Foundation exam fees, Intermediate exam fees and Final exam fees.
6. Payment Mode: Keep on hand your VISA or MASTER Credit/ Debit Card for payment of Examination Fee. Even if you have not either of these cards, you may use Virtual Credit Card to be accepted as VISA Credit Cards.
7. Certificate of Service/ Self Declaration: Keep scanned copy of Declaration /Certificate of Service self signed or signed by your principal or member of ICAI (wherever required).
